I love building strategies and creative solutions that focus on one mission - delivering results.

Starting out young and driven in the agency world, I had the opportunity to create the ideal career foundation working at DDB Needham managing several international clients such as Parmalat and Heinz. Working on packaged goods I built an understanding and respect for how to build a brand, the importance of creativity and clarity, and how to deliver against a client's business needs.

 

With this, I moved to the client side to understand the demands, needs, and layers of the client's business. Working at Sprint Canada I delved into the world of multi-tasking, building brands, and creating solid, deliverable campaigns. My career grew with a move to Roots Canada as the Director of Marketing strengthening and managing the Roots core brand alongside the licensees, kids, and home businesses, and launching Roots into the world of the Olympics. I then moved to new challenges at Shoppers Drug Mart, where as the Director of Marketing I managed the business of Front Shop, Pharmacy, and Private Labels.

 

Wanting to expand my horizons I then turned to Reader's Digest to take on the industry of Publishing. Refreshing and revamping the Reader's Digest brand, launching Best Health magazine, working to provide strategic, relevant, and creative in-magazine and online solutions for our clients such as P&G, Kraft, and L'Oreal.

This career path provided me with the experience and the opportunity to start Jump In Marketing Solutions consulting firm. I work with the best people I have encountered in the business and together as a team bring incredible work and real results for our clients such as Ron White Shoes, NBA Canada, and many budding entrepreneurs, helping them build brands from the ground up.

​

Launching my consulting business provided me the opportunity to take on part-time teaching roles at Centennial and George Brown College. I have spent the last 12 years teaching Marketing and Communication courses for George Brown College in the Post-Graduate program empowering students and bringing first-hand experience to the classroom.

​

Teaching and working with clients to build brands has been a very rewarding path, however Clever Marketers is what makes me happy every day with the opportunity to bring my teaching and marketing experience to help companies build their business.
